TABLE 3. Major lunar features: end of the magma ocean stage
1. Surface to 50-70 km: ferroan anorthosite and olivine norite crust.
2. 60 to 400-480 km: upper mantle, consisting largely of pyroxene and olivlne.
3. 400-480 km to center: lower mantle, consisting mostly of largely un-differentiated primordial accretionary material.
